I play the harp, and this is just the perfect shoe for working the pedals on the harp. There can't be too much padding inside because you have to feel the pedals, the toes should be slightly pointed and the heels about this height. So....that being said, these are just perfect. I have tried about 4 or 5 different styles before I found these. The are also comfortable to walk around in. I thought with the pointed toes they might be uncomfortable, but they are not.
