The material is extremely soft to the touch as well as rather appealing. The photo does not do them justice. The low middle and flat design makes them both comfortable and unusual, a combination of dance and fashion shoe in one. They are thin soled so not meant to be worn in rough weather, obviously. They are very easy to put on and stick in position without slipping so highly recommended.
