The sole is amazing quality, and thick enough that I have cushion and enough give that if my feet start to swell, they don't get squished. If you aren't used to bulky shoes, they do feel heavy, but you adapt. These are the second pair I've purchased, and I always get compliments on the iridescent color. The sizing is also pretty consistent.
