At first I was taken back that my fingers could slide on the bottoms without resistance and that these were not skid resistant but I tried them on the linoleum floor and they barely budged! I have found that if they get dirty or dusty you need to white them with a damp cloth to keep from skidding on smooth surfaces but otherwise they work well.
